How do students apply for a laptop?

Students or their parents/guardians can apply by clicking "General Contact" above and selecting "Student - Request a Laptop" as the subject. You can also ask your school counselor about our program - many schools in Brevard County already partner with us.

What types of computers can I donate?

We primarily accept laptops in working condition. Desktop computers, monitors, and other equipment may also be useful. Click "Donate a Computer" above to fill out our donation form, and we'll let you know if we can accept your device.

Do you pick up donated computers?

Yes! For larger donations or donors within Brevard County, we can often arrange pickup. Individual donors can also drop off devices at scheduled times. We'll coordinate the details after you submit the computer donation form.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Space Coast STEM is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status pending. Once approved, all donations (monetary and equipment) will be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We will provide a receipt for your records.

What happens to my data when I donate a computer?

We completely wipe all hard drives using secure data erasure methods before any device is refurbished. Your personal data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

We offer various partnership opportunities including corporate sponsorships, bulk equipment donations, and employee volunteer programs. Use the "General Contact" form and select "School or Corporate Partnership" to discuss how we can work together.
